Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has received high praise from the music press and bloggers. She has recorded several high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that are widely loved. Katy Perry's praise for the song Runaway via a blog post brought the singer additional recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an instrument in her attic and being fascinated by the music it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music for development of her own, not to earn money or to pursue to pursue an interest. Thus, she began her own compositions. She acknowledges Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork for being among her inspirations. Responding to her mother's suggestion that her children ought not to aim to become famous with her songwriting, but instead realize the importance of themselves and their impact on society. The mother of her child suggested that she sing her songs in public so that people can see their own importance and how they impact the world. She didn't tell her family about her musical journey until she was fourteen. The dream was never to become Aurora. Her sole passion is to write music. She says that music is her preferred method of feeling something.
